Very much along the same lines of the post I made over a year ago, The Past Meets the Present in Photographs, this photoset is thanks to one of my favorite websites these days, Retronaut.

Just as with the aforementioned above post, where images that are decades apart but brought together as one visual, these photographs by Jason Garst attempt to do the same think only using Photoshop to meld the past with the present. The impact is similarly fascinating.

I have looked all over the web for more work and/or information on this Jason Garst, but my search has – so far – come up empty. If you have any links to share, I would love to see more.
